Glass Tankards:

These images represent the glass versions of my “Get a Grip” tankards.  The original CAD design proposals formed a submission for a module on my master’s course and proposed that the tankards be 3D printed in glass. I later used my experience of glass casting from 3D printed models to make a set. I deliberately left the layers of the print visible so they are picked up in the casting process representing the digital origins of the pieces and demonstrating the making process.
